1. What the platform accesses
Only after the applicable enrollment, identity-verification, and authorization steps are completed, a platform may access and display supported categories of consumer information, including:
- Credit reports and credit scores
- Credit accounts, balances, limits, and payment history
- Account status, dates, collections, and credit inquiries
- Personal identifying and identity-verification information
- Public-record information where applicable and supported
- Credit monitoring events and report-change history
The specific fields available depend on the selected service, provider, consumer permissions, and applicable law.
2. Why it is used
The applicable platform may use authorized credit information to provide requested credit reports and scores, display credit information, compare supported bureau information, monitor supported changes, provide educational insights, and support consumer-authorized resolution workflows.
The platform does not use a bureau difference by itself to determine that information is legally inaccurate or unlawful. Consumers decide whether and how to pursue correction or dispute steps.
3. Data providers
The applicable platform may receive information from authorized data providers, which may include Experian and TransUnion where the selected service supports them. Provider-specific terms, disclosures, authorization requirements, and privacy practices may also apply.
The applicable platform is not a credit reporting agency. The applicable provider remains responsible for its own report data and legally required processes.
6. Retention and deletion
The applicable platform is designed to minimize unnecessary storage of raw credit reports and to use provider-hosted or controlled retrieval where the applicable service supports it. Retention periods depend on the requested service, provider terms, consumer instructions, legal obligations, security needs, and applicable agreements.
Consumers may request deletion or termination of access to the applicable platform by contacting privacy@unifitechs.net. Deletion may be subject to identity verification, legal retention requirements, provider requirements, backups, and records needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes.
7. Consumer choices and rights
Depending on location and applicable law, consumers may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of information, withdraw consent, or request information about processing. Requests can be sent to privacy@unifitechs.net. We may verify identity and authority before responding.
This notice is part of the applicable platform documentation and should be reviewed with the Universal Privacy Policy, Terms, and any provider-specific disclosures. It is not a legal opinion and does not replace advice from qualified counsel.
